Anne Hathaway II
Anne returns to the screen for act II of her romantic comedy in Italy, for date number 2. This date is a day time date, and of course is another surprise (Italians seem to like these). After driving for a while through the Tuscan countryside in perfect 25 degree weather she finally finds out where they are headed. Viareggio. A picturesque beach town in Tuscany. Now we have all heard about how crazy Italians are behind the wheel, and although Fabio tried his best to drive like a normal person, there are always nervous moments for Anne. Examples include … Driving in the middle of the road, entering roundabouts, overtaking cars, just driving fast in general (people don’t seem to abide by speed limits) and tail gating. Viareggio is somewhat reminiscent of Santa Monica in LA, with shops that line the water front and beautiful coloured umbrellas on the beach in blues and yellows. For lunch Anne was taken to a beautiful Italian restaurant on the beach front that served a variety of seafood and meat dishes. Fabio had a gnocchi with crab meet, while Anne indulged in a veal with tomato salsa (YUM) … and of course wine. There is always wine. Sadly this date was cut short, because Fabio had problems at work that he needed to go fix. But … their next encounter is already planned! He will teach her how to make pasta with ragu sauce, now that’s something to take home to the family, a real italian recipe.
and …. end scene.
